THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS
A soft dreamy vocal kicks off the new track from Thirty Seconds to Mars and ascends to where one would expect swirling guitars to kick in but, instead, are met by a fuzzy bass dance groove that kicks the song in a totally different direction. You have to love when an artist can defy expectations and deliver a surprise like that. Definitely a future #1 song.
NEVER ENDING MOMENT
“I’m here to drag rock and roll into the 21st century kicking and screaming if I have to” says Des Rocs. “It’s what I was put on this Earth to do.” There's no need for the theatrics, we're coming along willingly! This song is a kick ass romp that once it takes off - and there's a sweet build to that lift off - it doesn't let down. Radio is already all over this.
The guitars kick in on the opening note and don't let up until 3:49 later in this return to action for The Hives. The Swedish rockers are being welcomed back with a fervor as shows at Racket in NYC & The Troubadour in Los Angeles sold out in less than 60 seconds. Their first album in over a decade comes out in August. A very welcome return, indeed!
